I have a client who came to me about 18 months ago, she is aged 60 and had the most unbelievably work worn neglected hands. She was so ashamed of her hands and nails and they certainly presented an enormous challenge.
She wanted nice nails, not overlong but slightly over the end of her fingers. We tried both L&P and Brisa, both of which she literally smashed within days.
We abandoned enhancements and I persuaded her to switch to regular manicures and have slowly turned them into presentable hands. Because of her lifestyle, shifting logs, carting wallpaper rolls around, gardening, and clearing the grate polish lasts a maximum of 2 days and her nails have now started splitting and peeling. She does wear gloves but goes at all jobs like a bull in a china shop.
2 weeks ago I tried her with Akzentz Options and she returned for maintenance this morning. I was almost frightened to look but she had a chip on the corner of a thumbnail and had scuffed the topcoat on a couple. Apart from this she had no other problems.
She is thrilled and so am I, believe me there is no greater test on a product than this lady:lol:
