Hope you can help, I had a lovely client last night, nail biter, with very flat, very wide nails, especially the thumb, was a nightmare to get a tip to fit her. And stay glued on.
Finally managed it and altho not a perfect set, due to length of nails and tips, she was over the moon because she just wants nails, she is so committed to keeping up the appointments, she has made another one for next week for herself and her daughter.
Can anyone tell me the best tips to get for her nails, she wants white tips, I think her daughter's nails maybe the same has her little girl came with her last night and her nails were identical to Mum's.
Thanks for your help....

CND Eclipse is a great tip for those square flat nails. It is not a white tip however. Natural and clear. You would have to use your skill with white powder.

Or sculpt. Knowing how to sculpt always saves the day when a tip design is not available.

I have just started my acrylic sculpt training and cant wait to perfect it, but thank you so much for the tips, I knew CND would have one to do the job, x

Good thread!
Im having the same problems on wide flat nails aswell bitten alittle also.Iv had a look in the cnd cat about eclipse and read what it says would the formation also do the job,as it says gentle for damaged or misshaped nails.Iv never used the tips with the cut out in the well area before,I gather you just tip n blend the same as you would a normal tip anyway?

Iv got
velocity
perfformance
radical french in tips up to now.

You do. The 'notch' in the well of the tip allows the tip to flatten fully if needed without putting pressure on the tip so that it splits. Ingenious!

When blending just angle your file so that you don't catch the natural nail in the gap where the notch is. Quite easy.

Sometimes there are clients who ONLY this tip will fit properly. You don't have to purchase a massive box -- they come in a one hundred size.

Well done for getting another potential regular client, it sounds as if she will take care of them and keen to have regular treatments :green:
