Hi I am new to the site,
I am thinking about training to do Nouveau lashes both the graduation and masters levels.
I would like to know once completed the courses and lots of practise on friends and family when I feel totally ready how do I go about setting up?
Should I try to go mobile? If so what do I need to buy?
I would much prefer to work in a salon on a part time basis is this an easy option or would it be hard to find a job like this?
Any advice welcomed.
Thank you x

I take it from your profile, this is the only treatment you do?
I would have thought it would be hard to get a job in a salon, but if you rented a room, this would be possible.
I do mobile and it is fine, the only thing you really need is the client to make sure they have good lighting, or you would have to take a lamp with you, which is a pain.
You would need, A couch with cover, and a blanket which i have in a bag. As I find people get cold lying still for a while. I ask them to get themselves a couple of pillows, one for the head and one for under there knees or back.
I have a stool and a fold out table in my car, but dont take those in if they have a table i can set up next to or a chair to use.
I have bought myself some of those glasses you see in tesco, that magnify so I dont have to take a mag lamp.
Then all you need is your kit in a little case.
Sounds like alot but it's fine.
Good luck with it all.:)

Thanks so much for that it's a real help. You're right I don't have any other skills in the salon ind. but am eager to learn and feel this is the right first step for me as they do a course near where I live, then hopefully could progress onto other skills as I go. I know I'm not exactly doing it the normal way (college etc) but I had babies which stopped me from going down that path, guess I'm doing it the wrong way round but hey I might aswel give it a go, I'm going crazy at home! lol.
Thanks again for replying xxx

Sarah Louise thanks for that it's good to know there are others in the same position as me, I'm going to go for the first course asap so maybe we could keep in touch and go through the whole business thing together.
Vistaprint is excellent, my partner set up his own business and I've done him some custom business cards just last week and am waiting for them to arrive, best of all they were nearly free! I also made my save the date magnets on there and they are amazing.
Is it ok to pm you to find out how the course went etc?
Thanks ever so much luvly
Tori Lou x
