I haven't done beauty since finishing NVQ level 3 in June 06. Moved to Bristol to do FdSc at City Of Bristol College in Complementary Health Therapies, but dropped out cos it was shyte, now I have the qualifications, but am working in a call centre, which I hate. I have been thinking about getting back into beauty for some time now, but its been ages since I did it and working at Jade's Salon was a really bad experience for me to go through while still at college!

I bet it was lol....are you looking at getting back into the industry do you do nails or just beauty?

Yeah, I am considering it. There is no point in having these qualifications and not using them! I didn't do nails, I am really crappy at intricate stuff. Massage is more my thing, Im qualified in Indian Head, Aroma and Swedish, and MUCH prefer the Holistic side of things. I am also a Virgin Vie consultant, so I like make up, but a bit rusty! Oh yeah, and I did hair, but specialised in colouring, so I have considered going on a cutting course!

About 18 months now, shame yr not a nail tech, the holistic side is covered! There's a male salon down by the SS Great Britain at Hotwells, not sure what's it's called....they might be looking for someone.
