Hi Geeks,

As the title says really, is it possible to do a caviar manicure and set it in the base coat of gel? would you put a top coat on etc, how would this work? xx

I tried it on a popit with shellac in pink looked fab but then I top coated and it ruined it lol. It would have to be put on after a top coat. X I think

Yep I did it in gel ,twas a pain in the bum but it worked.lasted a week
Base coat
Cure
Clear
At first we dipped the finger in but it didn't cover it all so i tapped it out over the nail.
Press very very light as it moves it
Cure left it longer.
Float tip coat(glaze n go.) Over the top.
It didn't lose its colour and it lasted a week .

Is show you a pic but it won't let me upload off my phone

.....hi when you say float tip what do u mean by that? X

i tried it with shellac and it looked good. I applied base and colour coats as normal then applied top coat and dipped nail in the beads and cured. when i wiped over a few came off so i just patched it up and cured again.

However I found that when i came to do the next finger with caviar beads a lot of the beads had stuck together in the little dish i'd used and they didnt stick aswell to the top coat 2nd time round. I ended up throwing the beads away and starting again and it worked ok. which is a bit of a waste. anyone else found this or any tips on how to avaoid this happening?

also i didnt think to seal the free edge! silly me. One hand is still perfect looking the other is a bit bald but I suppose its a learning curve with these things. trial and error.

I am going to try this i use bio and was going to do this-
Clear, black x2, sgel (uncured) place beads, cure, final layer of sgel, cure.

Would this not work then? :/ x

Hi can you tell me if the nsi glaze n go works on the beads? And how long did they last for? I have tried putting the beads just in cured gel but they didn't last long at all. I can not see the pictures you put on it keeps saying the page is no longer available on Facebook? Thanks I'm new to this if you carn't tell lol

I tried it in gelish but it woudn't set - ive got a uv gel lamp and left it for 2 mins.
I put the foundation on, then colour, then beads but wouldnt set

have you got any tips on which order i should do it for best results?
