Hi,

I just had my first day of my make-up course at Saks Academy, the kit they have provided contains a make-up range by sbc.

Has anyone ever heard of it as it is not something I am familiar with and was just wondering if it s any good?

Would love any feedback. Thanks. xxx

They sell the gels on QVC but I didnt realise they did make up as well, they also use the gels at the college I go to

Here is the link to the SBC website

Thanks sky blue,

Was just wondering if anyone had any experience using it?

We used it at college. It's split into warm and cool colours which makes it a bit easier to use. It was ok but nothing special, I thought.

yeah i used these on my training course and got the kit . wish i hadnt now tho as the eyeshadows arnt really up to much ! these really are only a training product in my opinion or for begginers just starting out in the business.

Thank You all for your feedback.

I will have to research some products, does anyone one use a range that they would recommend? x

Why do so many beginners get trained with shall we say, 'lesser' products??? Surely it makes more sense to train with good products that are easier to use and last longer etc etc??

I would think if you haven't heard of the product before then chances are it's not top of the range!

SBC are sold in Ellisons, didnt know they did make up though.

Hi, I have tried the lotions, but never the makeup, I think this range had been around for about 20years. To start of with, it was just used by the professional market.

The sbc gels are suposed to actually be quite good so i have heard anyway . Especially the collagen and and massage gels , But i to really agree that this is as Geeg says a 'lesser' product .I have now invested in Mac Pro cosmetics and wish i had never paid over £100 for the sbc one ..

Thanks everyone,

I agree with Geeg aswell, looks like I will have start from scratch, never mind if this means I get better products then so be it.

Vicky, can you just go onto the Mac website and order as a professional? I love the Mac range, its long lasting and a reasonable price. xx
