Has anyone used premier gel? I think they are new and look very much like the gel bottle, even use the same description but alot cheaper then tgb. I wondered it they were worth a try as i like thb biab.

Hi, did you receive any replies to your post? I'm just starting out and have also come across premier gel but wanted to see others experience of it first before investing. Thank you!

My order was missing an item and I was also sent a wrong colour.... I rang and explained and they said they would send both out to me. I then got an email asking to call back so did and they didn't acknowledge the wrong colour sent and sent me a credit note for the item that was missing meaning I have to pay another lot of postage (£4.99) if I want to receive an item I have paid for in a previous order. So I have decided to lose my £10 because I'm not paying postage out on something that as far as I'm concerned should of been just sent out to me as it was their error. The colours are beautiful but my experience of buying and recieving hasn't been as expected...

Hi, I know this was posted a while ago but I was wondering ho you got on with premier gel? I have been using them for a while and mot of my clients have been experiencing peeling of the nail and it splitting, resulting in a lot of chipping! very frustrating and I'm wondering if its something I am doing or if it's an issue with the product?

Oh no. :( I’m fairly new and have recently been buying a Premier Gel. Have found the coverage and overall application to be great. No problem so far with deliveries and they often have amazing sale offers too. But I’ve not had enough time/clients to find out how the colours work longer term.
I currently have one of their colours on my own acrylic nails. Only been on a few days but no issues yet.
Did you use ALL Premier Gel products in the application process?

Yeah I use their whole system, base coat and LBG and then a colour. I have been talking to a few ladies who have had lots of issues as well and when the base coat is applied straight on the natural nail its causing issues. however when applied over polygel and acrylic the nail is fine because its not cured to the natural nail. its so frustrating and I'm just looking to see if anyone else is having the issue. I hope it doesn't happen for you and I'm hoping its a bad batch!

What lamp are you using? Mine were on my natural nails for over three weeks no problems

I am using SUNUV which is the lamp which is what they advise to use. How long have you been using it for?

I have bought a lot of premier gel colours as just started out and thought they were a good price, however full gel nails are lifting straight of the nail. I have keep trying with various colours and batches however the nail colours are still lifting and on lots of peoples nails.i have used sunuv light too and tried LED lights too. I am really stronly considering changing product. Really disappointing.

I never had a problem with longevity when using rubber base and top. However they don’t ask for certificates/proof of qualifications when people purchase from their website so I’m going to get rid of all mine. I only like using professional products! It also seemed to have a reputation for being a “cheaper copy” of the gel bottle which isn’t great!

Agree ive used premier gel but have had some dodgy bottles when I've swatched them they've been really gloopy so no good. They've always got a sale on but never anything in stock. I'm going to be moving over to ink London they've got some lovely colours and reasonably priced too. They are not open to the public which is great.

Sounds like I’m the only one whose had no problems with it? It’s lasted on all my clients nails so far with up to 4 weeks wear
Only problem I’m having is using it on short nails, I think it’s something I’m doing wrong though.

If you’ve had no problems why do you want to get rid

As I explained in my comment above, because non professionals can buy it and online it seemed to have a bit of a reputation for a cheaper copy of the gel bottle

I've not had any problems with the bottles that have been good, my clients get a good 3 weeks from them. It's on the odd bottle they've been gloopy. I'm moving as they've never got anything in stock.

I recently herd that premier gel founder is tgb founder daisys ex husband ! And he made the company and under cut her massively because he really hates her.
This was news to me so could be complete nonsense but he uses the same ingredients and same shape bottle so could be true! I love the gel bottle though but might buy a few of premier to see if they have the same fabulous application.

I too had heard this. I have bought quite a few Premier Gels as I am only just starting out and wanted a low cost product to try and keep costs down whilst practising. I have also bought a dozen or so Gel Bottle products. The consistency is very similar so I checked out the companies on Companies House. There is a link between the two directors, however, whether this means it is the same product I don’t know.

Oh how interesting!
I think they both have the same ingredients, but id never herd of premier until yesturday when a client told me about it and she told me that story !
I might buy just a few and test them out on regulars just incase they arnt that great!

Hi there, sorry late to this thread. I have ordered a few times off premier gel and only ever received one of my orders. I have such trouble getting the orders to Ireland which is ridiculous. The first order took nearly 2/3 months to get to me after several emails overs and back. They keep saying the courier’s are loosing my orders? Wondered if anyone else had this issue. Thanks

I have been using premier gel with no problems, I get 3 weeks wear. I switched over from the gel bottle because I found nothing was ever in stock and there was an issue with the amount in the bottles. The consistency is quite different and PG is easier to apply and the brush is nicer to work with but obviously this is just personal preference.

I've never had any order issues, once I ordered two different colours but they were so similar when I swatched them, they let me choose a different one for free (and keep the others).

They are a professional only brand, you have to send certificates. Hope this helps.

They didn’t ask for mine or my friends certificates when we ordered
