Anyone used Refectocil Red Tint?

Hi

i bought the Red Refectocil tint as i have a redheaded client i want to try it on (brows). Opened it up today for a look and it looks a really bright reddy pink!!

Has anyone actually used it on brows? Do you mix it with brown ( i have both the light and the medium Refectocil browns) or use it alone? the colour seems so alarming!

I've not tried it but why not mix some with hydrogen peroxide and wait to see what colour it goes in the dish :hug: Then you can try the other mixes and see the different effects.

Hi - it depends on the base shade of the hair that you apply the tint to (I have done hairdressing in a previous life!) If the client is very fair then it is likely to be quite red/pink. Yes I would mix with brown but I feel the Chestnut tint or light brown which I use on myself ( I am a copper blonde) would be an altogether better bet. It also depends on what shade of red she is.

thanks for your replies. I decided the red was just too pink to use alone and I ended up mixing 3 colours - the red, the medium brown and the light brown.

It matched her hair absolutely perfectly!
