Hi, I recently finish my nail extension course, here in Portugal, and i wonder if any of my fellow geeks works with the freeforms/dual forms method. Is it as easy has they say? During the course, i tried to know more about this method and i was very disappointed with the answers.....because my "teacher" told me, she tried years ago and they all came out the day after, she said that even tried in many guinea pigs, for a few months and they didn't last long... is it true?
Or depends of the brand/quality, and how you aply it? (she didn't told me wich brand she worked with, but she did told me, she bought those forms in a spanish aesthetics fair).
Can you help me recomend one brand that works for you? (I apreciate if you can recomend brands that sell in Europe, for it's easier for me to buy).Actually this method isn't very popular in Portugal...i can't understand why... i don't see any brand in portugal selling this item...

Hi MClau, I use the Edge freeforms and am having great results from them, I have 3 clients that have them and I have had no problems with them at all. Only client I had trouble with was a nail biter with very flat wide nail beds they didn't suit her nails at all.
I also use them on myself very easy and quick to apply. Once you have mastered the knack of applying them, eg. not to much pressure and not to overfill the form, you will be surprised how easy they are, and the finish is amazing ...hth...x

Hiya, Welcome to the site. If you do a search for PopIts you'll come up with hundreds of threads!

I have found freeforms brilliant for doing my own nails, perfect set everytime. I have just started using them on a couple of clients and they are so quick and easy to use..xx

Thanks for your help!!! I'm very tempted in trying this method! Now tell me, which brand do you recommend to work whith? I found a few on the internet, and i don't know if there's any difference between them. Do you also tried other brands? Or the difference is in the product (acrylic you use), and way you apply it? (Sorry for all these questions...i just started in this business and have a few dougts...but i'm counting on your support) :o:hug:

I think they're all made by the same company and then just sold under different names depending on who is selling them. I've found a place that sells the dual system forms for a very reasonable price, I've used them and can't see any difference between freeforms or poppits so feel free to email me if you'd like the details.

Thanks for the info, Jackie

I know this question has been asked a few times and I don't mean to hijack the thread but does anyone know where to get these in the US? I've searched to the ends of the internet and can't find anything but I have a hard time believing there's NO ONE that sells them:)
