As some of you know, I recently trained in L+P and am getting to grips with it, slowly but surely :green:

I've got a problem though, when I apply perfect pink/clear to zone 3 it's fine, no problems when next rebalancing, however, when I apply the new opaque neutral/warm powders there's a lot of lifting at the next rebalance.
I put it down to the pressure I'm using when patting down my product, but, if that were the case surely I'd have the same problem when using the pink/clear?!?

I rebalanced a 3 week client this morning with perfect pink and the lifting was minimal apart from a couple of sidewalls where I'd obviously had soft tissue contact last time, zone 3 was fabby.

Are my problems down to using blended powders?

I'm anal about prep (verging on obsessive) so I know it isn't that.

Anyone have any ideas?

I think it could be your application Sandi.
The CB powders contain more pigment and I find if I apply them too thickly they can lift, so be sure to apply it in Z2 so it thins towards Z3 and PUSH & PRESS, don't pat it.
If you push your brush up towards Z3, then pull it back, whilst keeping the angle of the brush at around 45 degrees that should help. Remember to push the product onto the nail to make it stick!
HTH hun:hug:xx

So, thinner application and push it on to the nail firmer than usual?

Yep!
I'm sure you'll notice it stays on better.

Good luck with it Sandi, you'll soon get the hang of it. It looks great & well worth it. .
