Hiya i am currentley doing my NVQ2 in beauty Therapy, i am aplling for a part time joba at a local salon. as this is the firsts time i am applying for a salon job i was wonderding what i need to put into my CV? As well as my nvq i am also quialified in Fake Bake Spray tanning??

Have you had any previous jobs ? List all of those with dates and description.
Its always good to include a description of yourself, likes, hobbies etc.
If you google CV's Im sure you will find some good examples. I haven't done one for years so not best person to give advice im afraid !

i will tell you my personal preferences from a CV ( this is not necessarily right or wrong)
1. no spelling mistakes
2. date of birth
3. full info on school and college qualifications
4. like to see some hobbies which dont include socialising, going out with friends, drinking etc etc (surprising how many people dont have much else to say than this)
5. Like it to be informative but a bit of your personality to come through.
At this point it will serve you well if you have done some work experience in salons.
