Hi
I do very little make up in the salon, just the odd special occasion make up and all the clients ive done have been pleased with the results.

However, i do find it difficult to apply mascara on the client ( she is normally sitting upright on the couch )

Im grt at applying my own,!! but cant seem to get the perfect lashes on a client!!

I apply the bottom lashes first, then ask the client to look down as i apply the outer layer of the top lashes , then apply the underside of the top lashes ( thats what i was tought a college )
they still dont seem grt and have diificulty getting an even , coverage and to get them to look full and curvy

any advice would be appreciated
thanks!!

Bend your mascara wand so its at about a 30 degree angle to the handle....much easier to work with. with that you'll find you can rest the side of your hand (gently) on her cheek and steady it.

And try tucking a folded tissue under her bottom lashes, and then getting her to look right down and more or less close her eyes. You can get the tissue really nice and close in. Then with the angle of your wand and the tissue you can really go for it and apply almost the same way you can your own...dragging it up through the lashes to cover and build.

I used to be so scared of mascara....its now easy that way and I have no worries of getting it smudged!

Thanks Lyndsay!!!
brilliant ...
