Applying tint on bleached highlights

Can I put Koleston 8/07 on to bleached highlights with root regrowth or would it look odd?

I trained as a Hairdresser many years ago. But have been Barbering for the last 16yrs. But do my daughters hair every now then. She usually has foils using bleach but would like to tone it down. And was just looking for some advice. There is no need to be rude about it

Thinking about it maybe I worded the question wrong. Think I should asked if I apply the colour to the roots first then through to the mid lengths and ends would it all blend together
