hi, i have a lady booked in for acrylics tomorrow. she said she has clear acrylics but some have come off - i do pink and white and she said that is what she wants now. would i be best to soak of the ones she still has on and start again? she only has two hours and that is what it is taking me to do a full set at the moment so not sure how i will fit soaking off into the appointment if i need to! help! thanks in advance

I would soak off and start again. Whichever hand has the most missing then begin there. Re-apply the ones that are missing whilst soaking the other hand and then just soak off the remaining ones on the first hand whilst you do the one that was soaking, if you get what I mean! This will save you time. You will be surprised how fast you can do a set when you are up against the clock! Just be aware that you are working as well as talking, that is my biggest problem, I start talking and then need the old hands and arms to emphasise what I am saying! Ha ah ha!!!

You could buff the remaining nails down but in my experience this would probably take longer than soaking the way I have described. Good luck and let us know how you get on! :)

thanks for your reply - she cancelled anyway! said she will rebook next week though so if she still has any other acrylics on i will take your advice. thanks again x

Depending on what her nail enhancements looked like and assuming they looked great, just treat it like a rebalance and obviously just use your pink and white L&P. Why soak them off?
