Are Semi Perm Lashes all the same?

Hi I would like to know more about semi perm eyelashes, I have had Blink & Go lashes on twice now and am really dissapointed with them to be honest.
The problem is that after about 4-5 days of having them on they start dropping down in places and catching on my bottom lashes and even poking me in the eye and pulling my own eyelashes out! The first time I had them done really long and by the end of the first week they were coming out in bit clumps and making big gaps in my lashes, by the 2 week mark when I went to have them off they looked disgusting.
But I decided to have them on again but this time in a shorter size so hopefully they wouldn't give me these problems, but once again some have dropped in clumps and look like they are half way down my lashes if you know what I mean? They start getting stuck together and poking me in the eyes (they are very sharp at the base!) If you look at them side on they look stupid I feel like going and having them off already. I don't know how they can say they last 2 weeks cos they so don't.
So I'm thinking I'll just pay extra and go for the Nouveau semi perm lashes but will I have the same problems?
I want them as long and thick as possible but don't want them stabbing me and falling out etc.
Thanks so much for any advice

I have trained in blink and go lashes and i can say that, yes it did take me a bit of practise to perfect them however all my clients love them and would never go back to conventional lashes, with blink and go i am able to give all my clients the desired look they want. The problems you are describing are not blink and go but the technician who is applying them, they should never ever poke you in the eye, if this is happening then the lashes are not applied properly to the base of your own lashes, as for clumping, that is also in the hands of the technician, if applied well there should be no clumping. anyone who has blink and go applied will probably lose a few in the first week however this is due to your own lashes shedding an cannot be helped, i always invite my clients back in the first couple of days so i can sort any lashes that may of shed an left small gaps however all my clients wear their lashes for the two weeks and if they have looked after them well and followed aftercare advice the lashes look good, some may of shed but they have never had lashes poking their eyes or sticking together. I'll put some pictures up of my lashes i do so you can see because its a real shame you've had this experience and if i was you i'd be going back to demand the lashes are fixed. x

Properly applied semi permanent lashes can last as long as you want them to with regular maintenance every 2-3 weeks. They are applied 1-2-1 on your own lashes so as they grow you shouldn't feel anything as they grow.

With regards to long and thick, that will depend on your natural lashes. If they are strong they will take a thicker, longer extension but your therapist will go through all that with you when they see your lashes.

There are quite a few Yorkshire geeks on here. Maybe one will be local to you.

I love Blink & Go lashes and find they last me 3 weeks or more before I need them maintaining. Never had any poke me in the eye or feel uncomfortable in an way. I think you need to find a better technician because the system is great.
Same with anything really .. the result is only as good as the operator.

Thanks guys for your time, I did think it could be the tech because the first time she did them she did a few wonky but I thought that could have been me because I wasn't used to it and it did make my eyes water a lot.
Plus as I have really thick strong (but short) lashes she spent over half an hour doing the first eye but then when some of the girls in the salon mentioned to her about lunch break and that they were off to the shops she only spent half the time on the second, but I didn't really know any different then. That was the eye that had a few wonky aswel.
Yeah so I guess she isn't that good, I mean they really hurt when they poke me in the eyes and get stuck together, so bad that I cant open my eyes I have to prise them apart! So it's not just me then, Thanks for showing me that, It's not the Blink & Go that are pants its the tech!
What should I do? I mean Should I ring the salon and complain?
Thanks again so much xxx

Absolutely you should complain. If you are not happy with a service, tell them about it.

also with blink and go it doesnt matter what kind of lashes you have naturally, because you can have them as long and thick as you want with blink and go, i wish i could post you some pics to show you but i don't know how to post pics

Everyone thanks very much for that, as I'm writing a clump of my top lashes have just stuck to my bottom ones fixing my eyes together!
Wow I'm really annoyed that someone is allowed to do them like this and cause actual pain and discomfort!

Doesn't sound good at all. Did they have the Blink and Go chair and everything else? Do you think they just decided they'd offer blink and go without going on the training. Doesn't sound right to me.

Hi no the salon has a really good reputation and they had the chair and everything, Its an actual Blink & Go salon that I think makes them? Thats why I thought it must just be me.
I've just rang the salon and the girl I spoke to has booked me in on Tues to have them off and some more put on, I made it clear I wanted a different tech so she's given me someone else and put a note on the computer for the 'manager' type person to have a word with me about it.
Thanks so much guys, I honestly thought it was the lashes or me! Lets see what happens on Tuesday

Could I just clarify one thing so I know what I'm supposed to expect?
Ok I'll try and explain this best I can, When I look in the mirror and open my eyes as wide as I can to see the under side of the lashes the blink and go ones dont start right at the base of the lashes but a bit further down, there is a small gap which you can clearly see when looking sideways on.
Also while still eyes wide open the ones that have dropped down clearly cover a bit of the white of my eye with a little sharp end bit, this must be the one that keeps getting caught on my bottom lashes. All the bases of the blink and go lashes are stuck to my lashes with big black blobs/clumps if you know what I mean? Like really bad mascara sort of? You can see my natural lashes then a gap to black clumps where the b&g's start. Is this normal?
How does this sound to you guys?

I've never had Blink and Go or express lashes but I don't think that's right. Ask the therapist when you go back on Tuesday.

No this is not right.

You should not be able to see the separated end of the individual lash.
The individual lash should not beplaced right at the base of your natural lash (that bit is correct) but it should be attached all the way along the length of your natural lash. It should look like one long lash.

I could take a pic to show you if anyone can tell me how?

You don't need to .. i understand perfectly .. she has not attached the lash correctly .. they should not separate at the base. They should not drop down and they should not irritate your eyes .. it is precisely because they are not adhered at the base as they should be, that this is all happening.

Ok thanks I'm guttad, so glad I asked you guys! Least theyre gonna try and sort it for free (I hope)
