ASP Gel polish, deceiving!

I have recently trained in the ASP gel poilish and whilst testing out all the ASP colours I have found that some of the colours need several coats just to look presentable. The cranberry colour for example needs atleast 5 coats. Has anyone else found this or is it just the way I am applying it as other colours such as raspberry go on fine with 2 coats?

Nope. Some of them really are blotchy even when mixed thoroughly.
