Im about to deliver hand made flyers around my area. Anyone got any ideas as to what i can put on these to catch peoples attention?

why hand made? just thinking about the quality.. remember its a first impression, perhaps it would be better getting some done professionally.. i just had 5000 double sided a6 on card done for £140.. i know its alot more than doing them by hand, but it would give out a more prof image..:)

First impressions are everything .... think it through carefully!

I know tacky when i see it, i wouldn't make a fool out of myself by posting out something i thought was rubbish.

My friend works for a PR company, and she was going to do some for me as a favour, i just need to give her the details.

It is soooooo expensive trying to get everything set up!!! Someone suggested Vista print to me, but i dont like their templates they offer.

Anyone use any other sites for this kinda thing?

Well here is what I would put on mine.

I am a nail technician of quality and excellence.
I am well educated and skilled at my job.

I do nails that are beautiful and long lasting.
I specialise in making nails that look real and naturally your own …
I do not make nails that look false and unnatural.
I practise good sanitation and work safely always.
I guarantee the health and beauty of your natural nails at all times.

If you are a person that appreciates quality and professionalism from your nail artist then please call Gigi Rouse on 123 456 7890

But remember, if you make promises you have to OVER deliver on them.

You can upload your own logo to Vistaprint if you don't like their templates - I did.

Another good company is Goodprint Ltd | Business Cards | Business Card Printing.

If I were to do door-to-door marketing, I would just put an attractive business card through the doors - quicker and easier. You could put Gigi's suggested script on the back of the business cards.

Good luck!

wow, Geeg, your phone numbers REALLY easy to remember!!! =]

The postcards from vistaprint are very reasonable and look fab. With a few pics (uploading your own design) you get a VERY expensive looking card with the info on that geeg has just said, is all you need.

Its the first impression that makes the difference of the client calling you to find out more or NOT.

When I am going to a house and havent been before you can usually guess which house it is in the street. The new upvc double glazing and block paving outside. So perhaps these are the types of houses you need to target. (I know that doesnt mean that a tatty house owner wont want nails doing but its often rare)!!!

I have got to ask you which printing company you have used to get them so cheap

nothing says qulaity like quality fliers

think about it you get two flyers through the door, one professionally done one hand done with cheesy clip art - both offer the same service, which would you ring first?

What exactly are you advertising - I'll help you with the wording if you give me somthing to go with! xx

i just had some flyers printed and gave them out on a saturday in the town center outside the entrance of the shopping center and outside the salon.i put with big letters '15% off with this flyer'. i have had such a great feedback. its a good way of doing it, and you can answer all their questions there and then and to show them how professional you are.
i also listed giftvouchers available and most of the treatments we do.

for A5 1500 thick paper glossy £191.00
p.s dont waffle on them

good luck
