Thats really out of order but I actually feel quite sorry for the pub manager too. He obviously was worried at how it would be perceived as people are very quick to play the racist card nowadays. He probably thought asking you girls was the easiest way out of a tricky situation. I hope your complaining doesn't cost him his job.

Wrong of manager, but I agree with Waffle; he had to think quickly and avert a possibly nasty situation, so he took the easier way.
