HELP!!!!!!
I've been using Axxium by OPI, just wondering if anyone else is and if you have had burning of nail plates on your clients??? feels like nails are on fire..
Thanks: Lill

A heat spike seems to be the norm for most gels ... the only gel I have used that does not have a significant and painful heat spike is Brisa Gels from CND.

Other factors that can make the heat spike even more noticeable and painful
are too thick an application by the nail technician or working on damaged and thin nail plates. So:
  • work with more but thinner layers
  • introduce the hand to the UV lamp slowly
These are few tricks to help ease the heat spike but in actual fact, the client has to go through it if you use a gel that has a strong exothermic reaction (the proper name for heat spike) for the gel to cure.
