axxium gel question

HI all i am very new to this forum so thought id try it for a little advice i have just started with axxium soak off and am loving it however have lots of clients that love the colours but who wear tips so i have lots gt the normal axxium gel to use under it but i was won dering which sealer do iuse the soak off or normal one and does anyone have any tips or experience doing this ? do i jus use axxium normal base then soak off colour straight over it? i am doing the soak off course next week so i can buy from lena white but i have been a nail tech for 3 years,
also does anybody know any other uk distributers of axxium soak off?

I am learning this system at the moment, you would use the soak off uv sealer whether you are using the colours on natural nails or over enhancements.

When you apply to gels or acrylics you need to remove all the shine with a 180 file and dust and then start the colour application with the soak off gel base

Prep to natural nails is 180 file to remove shine, gently buff with flex buffer, shape, dust, cleanse and apply bond aid.

I believe because you use tips on the clients, it's best to use the regular axxium base and not the soak-off base. The soak off base is more flexible, as I should know because I tried the soak-off base w/tip and had a complaint. You can still use the soak off top sealer & color. When you do go to soak them off, only the top & color will come off.

Just a thought but if you use tips or or other enhancements wouldn't you just buff off the color when you want to change it? Doesn't the acetone affect your enhancement otherwise?

Its 15 mins soak off over gel to remove colour only. With acrylics you have to buff off or soak for about 30 mins if you want to remove tips completely HTH
