Hi all,

looking for a training course which doesn't just do the basics but will also go through rebalancing, lower lashes, effects i.e cat's eyes etc.. from threads I have read not all do?

also one trainer suggested i also take lash tinting to go with the extensions, which makes perfect sense but also lash perming?? which i would have thought would be a no no with extensions and cause probelms.

thoughts and suggestions please

Hi

Most courses will only cover the basics on a one day course.

Re-balancing/infill is common sense really - clean the lashes down, remove the overgrown ones, replace all the ones that are lost, then re-seal the lashes.

Lower lashes are an advanced technique and should not be attempted until you have done lots of practice and have gained experience of the upper lashes. This is because you need to attach the extensions with eyes open and you must have perfect control of your tweezers to do this.

Most trainers will give you a style guide to help you with corner sets, half sets, full sets etc.

A lash tinting course will definitely be useful since a lot of clients who want lashes on have fair lashes that are difficult to see without tinting. Can't really see how a perming course could help you unless it was to try and straighten out the really curly lashes? (not sure about this since I haven't done a lash perming course and don't know what it entails).

Hope this info helps.

Thanks Jules - yes of course this makes perfect sense;

Lash tinting - seems a yes... perming??? think suggesting to curl?? so would have thought would be a bad idea.
