I suck at the ballerina shape...i keep practising on falsies...any tips or tricks x

I tend to be better at sculpting these?... I just do them a bit longer, gently taper ends in with brush but not too much, so more square shape, then file more tapered in? Keep filing even and concentrate on the straight free edge, as it's easy to file more on one side than the other! Plus I always turn clients hands round to check?
Hard to explain in writing

Hi I was struggling with these at first so I ended up going having them done somewhere and then when I come home I put a form under the tip and worked out how to shape them and the shape/technique to use when sculpting it I found it helped so much x

Maybe easier to try and make almond shape first, than file the free edge.

Tried to upload a pic x

Someone posted on this recently and there were several replies and pics. If you use the search facility it should be there x
