Beauty business mobile or at home?

Hi there my first post

Im just starting out into beauty (hopi ear candles and gel polish to start with). So I can do this mobile or possibly at home. However, I am renting and wondered if anyone has done their business from home whilst renting? I will obviously need to change my house insurance but will my landlady need to also? Any advice would be much appreciated.

You will have to ask her permission as it could void her mortgage if she has one and void her buildings insurance.
Could go either way.

Thanks. I mentioned to her about the beauty and she said "well its fine you can work from home cant you" but im guessing she doesnt realise she would have to change insurance etc. Maybe best if I stick to mobile and only do friends or family at home.
