I expect I sound mental but I'm having a baby in spring (hence I still haven't started any training but hopefully one day!) and I am contemplating having eyelash extensions for the birth...

I've got long eyelashes but they are weedy and pale and without mascara I have no eyes. Dyeing doesn't make enough difference, still need my mascara, but a few false lashes do the trick. I hate having my photo taken but obviously people will want to take pics of the new baby and I'll have to be in some of them!

I know properly applied lash extensions are said to be really durable but would they stand up to the stresses of labour? I'll have to save up to get it done and don't want to waste £80 on something that'll end up stuck to the pillow!

Any advice gratefully received

Im sure they will be fine, as long as you wont weep uncontrollably ( only joking), if you can swim in them they will be good xxxxxxxxxxxx

lol!

I thought it'd be a good ego boost for the first few days as well, I understand that I'll be doing well to find time to put clean clothes on and brush my hair!

Your lashes will withstand labour, as said you can swim in them. It usuallt takes 90+ minutes though. Will you be able to lie flat for that long?

When my big cousin had a baby in October she had a planned c-section so knew her date. I did her spray tan and tinted her lashes & brows. She said she felt better having her photo taken.

im not too far from you if you want a nice set applying for the birth
