I wondered if I could pick your brains on behalf of my sister-in-law who is a hairdresser and opening a new salon.
She will be renting out hairdressing chairs downstairs, but upstairs has a number of beauty rooms and nail desks which is not an area she has been involved in before and is trying to work out a fair rent. She would prefer to rent these spaces on a fixed rate basis rather than percentage. She is based in the East Midlands and the salon will be just outside the town centre. Would you be able to give us some pointers please?
Do you charge more for busier days of the week (Friday and Saturday) or have a minimum number of days that can be rented?
