I have heard that beauty therapists do not make much money, and usually just minimum wage. Is this true? I would like to be self-employed, and work from home: is this a good plan, or am I being deluded?

Thanks for any answers: I'm not in it for the money, I'm just curious.

Unfortunately i can't answer ur question all i can say is like most job, it varies!

If you are employed by somebody then wages are not great i'm afraid.
If you work for yourself and have a good client base then you can make quite a lot.
If you rent a room and have a good client base then you can usually make a lot too.
My beauty therapist works on commission and you can make more this way than being employed.
