Amazing I have a few requested for red ombres.. What technique do you use?

Flash on my camera has made it look a bit weird but it looks lush in person. Faded, dull brown to a bright purple with lighter purple slices throughout using ELUMEN.

Cut is nothing to do with me ... that is being done at her next appt. as she got called into work and we ran out of time.

Thank you, for more subtle ombres I prefer to use balayage, in this case I used more of a root strech technique.

First I applied the root colour (5.64+red+copper mix tone) and worked in sections upwards from the nape bringing the root colour down, and then appled a prelightener to the lengths and ends and blending it upwards into the red. Isolate each section with clear meche ('label.m magic foil' is good).

If you are using prelightener like this it's important to saturate the hair or it will lift patchy (I had to comb it & reapply) and I also used a higher strength on the ends - it's also really important to blend the two lighters together or you will create a line.

I try to work as cleanly as possible and always have at least one "dry" hand so I can section the hair without smudging the colour really helps (esp. on brown-> blonde ombres!)

The client wanted a "flame" effect so when I toned the hair I first applied the toner to the midlights for a few minutes, then to the ends so even the toner application is graduated. First toned with majicontrast copper + water, then dialight 7.43 + 6.64.

Hth sorry for the essay x

I love it. So easy and fast! I couldve done this look using balayage method but flamboyage took half the time. I only put 10 strips in her hair. It was my first time doing it, I just watched a youtube video and tried it.
