How do you find the easiest way to blend the root stretched colour to the lighter ends? I was going to use a balayage board but this'll get messy. I don't want to do the root stretch then wash and dry it, then do the balayage as I'm pre-pigging first so it'll take too long.

I backcomb sections, balayage it and put it in a foil and leave the backcombing outside of the foil. apply the root colour to the backcombing.. the amount of backcombing depends whether they want an ombrè or more of a root stretch

Tomliampiper can I ask where yr based? I'm interested in getting my hair done x

Plymouth in Devon, can only imagine that's just a bit to far for you 😒

Brill, thank you for that. Definitely a lot tidier than how I did it! Two boards one for root colour, one for end colour. The colour came out well but the technique was so messy, which I hate. I'll definitely be using your technique.

Few from this month :)! Xx

Pinks lovely but is that a crease in her hair?

Oops, yes it is 🙈 my (ahem rubbish) excuse is that it was a favour for a friend who had to rush off so my finishing wasn't all on point (hence the after picture being snatched on the way to her car haha!) It was supposed the be lavender but I'm sure directions mid-branded their tubs!

It's me, my hair, took me 2 days.
1. Used Elimin8 first ( had problems after tho, 1st time using it)
2. Went to salon and had bleached highlights and a tint but unfortunately the tint reacted and went back to my pink colour, I had pink and blonde hair!!!
3. Used Elimin8 all over again to remove the pink bits
4. Used highlift 12/0 and 12/11 with just 9% to lift slightly and add tone

Can still see slight pink bits in the ends and a bit underneath but nothing I can't live with as I have regular trims
