hello Geeks!!

Just wanna be nosey again!!! im like a nosey nieghbough.....

What do you use to hold all your equipment for going mobile? and what sort of table and chairs ect do you take when mobile....

Do you have one of the little metel chests for like £35?? or one of the reall big ones which seperate into three for like £75+.
Its my birthday soon you see :p and i thought id rather be getting bits and bobs for my new carear rather than wasting money on crap. I like the look of the big ones which seperate on wheels, but wasnt sure if that would be too big and a waste of money..... advice pleeeeaasseee???

As for table and chairs/stools......obviously they need to be able to fold, and light to carry... i gues you would have these cause not everyone has a table which chairs (well im one who dont any way lol) and how embarrising it would be to turn up with out expecting for them to have one to use lol. so where can you get them ones that are not tooo expensive??

I have a folding picnic table with a little carry handle on the side from Focus.. think it was only £6. As for a chair, I don't take one because I use clients dining chairs, they don't seem to mind ;)

For pedicures I have a little telescopic camping stool that has three legs and opens up, it's perfect for me as I can't sit too low (dodgy hip - it's my age) and it was only £3.00 from tesco.

I have a silver metal tool box from B&Q (£25) for my polishes and mani/pedi equipment and a square silver box for my acrylic kit so I just take which ever one I need. I also have a collapsable cream cloth box from ikea for my heated bootees, mitts, paraffin wax heater, uv lamp etc.

Sounds a lot doesn't it!!! lol... I just leave my stool and table in the bottom of the boot and just take which ever box I need so it's not too bad... I'm sure other geeks have lots of better money, space and time saving ideas too.... :biggrin:

I bought my table from Lakeland - its white and has adjustable legs. Have used once and its great. I am going to invest in a stool for myself but not the client.

My box is from B&Q also and i love it, holds all my bits and pieces just right! xx

I have a portable nail table that is kidney shaped. It has a little draw underneath, I find this really easy to take to peoples houses and put in the car as it's not too big.
I use the aluminium cases from beauty-boxes to store my products, though just a plastic sewing box for my mani and pedi things as I don't do many of these and am not in need of sections that I have in the aluminium cases.
When I was at college, I have a 3 sectioned trolley as I had to take my mani, pedi, acrylic, fibre glass and gel kit together. This can be heavy when you start mobile, as I'm sure you'll find a system you prefer to offer/ use, so you will only need to carry what you need.
hth:hug::)

I want to get one of those medium beauty boxes aswell. A nail tech suggested to me once to use a fishing box....sounds silly i know but she said this is what she used to carry all her stuff around to attend courses.
Im going to have a look around town on saturday to see if i can find a trendy looking vanity case xx

Has your camping table got adjustable legs? , check its not too low if it hasnt,and also check its not too wide either, so your not bending over the table to get to the client..:wink2:
