HELP,
I got my spray tan tent today from shadez spray tan, opened it up and all was fine, untill I had to put the thing down again.......................
Me and a neighbour have been trying to put that yoke down for well over an hour, watched all the video's on googlevideo and Utube as was suggested in diffirent threads on this site and now.... it seems bend:cry::cry::cry::cry:
I rang the company and they advised me to watch the video's (wich I had already done ofcourse)
I have the tent lying under my matress to try and get it flat again, I am just wondering, is it ripe for the bin or not.
And if not does it matter wich side you put in first and to what side you have to fold it double.
I am just sooo sad
Help:cry:please

Ok.. don't dispare.. they are tricky at first until they get a memory and just pop back so easy. We have all been there where its seems impossible to close them again.

What I do with mine is return the sides so that you have one pannel with both sides folded back inwards. I then with the narrow end facing away and holding the wider end push the narrow end up against a flat wall. then I fold over my wider end and grab both ends. Here you will feel a lot of resisitance and they won't fold flat together .. they stay looped shaped.

The tricky bit here is to have the confidence to turn the loops into each other so twist them, top hand towards you and bottom hand away from you and they will twist into each other into a nice tidy circle.

Once in the circle you can pop back into the bag.

You need to do this at least 10 - 12 times where by it just becomes so easy..

Go and have another go and dont force anything.. just gently persude :)

Good luck

I can remember the first time I tried to fold up my tent, what a nightmare!! I thought I was going to have to take it out unfolded! Hubby managed to do it before me and it was just a case of keep practising until it folded down easily... can now do it in about 10 seconds flat! :green: having said that it does sometimes put up a fight and wont bend the way I want it so I have to open it out and start again...

Keep practising, you WILL do it!!

husband came home and unbended it for me.
now that's the reason I married him!!!
I still haven't managed to fold it back down but I'm sure we will give it a shot when my two little monsters:evil::evil: are asleep :zzz:because it is impossible to get them out, its a great big toy for them:grr:
I am just happy the tent is not wonky anymore and wanted to share this with you:lol:

Hi Hun
oh the nightmare of the tanning tent, the memories, yes we have all been there and then when we work it out we could all kick ourselves,
ok here goes, with your tent upright and the opening facing you, put your hand on the right hand side of the zipper and push this side into the back left side of the tent, it should now be one piece (one big piece lol)
now turn it upside down so the smaller bit is on the floor and you have the wider end in the air,
put the smaller bit against your skirting board and push over and away from you the bigger bit so that it has formed a large C, now you need to push each side in towards the centre and twist the loops into each other and then hey presto you should have it down,
now for the fun bit, put it back up and do this about 10 times until when you are doing it it almost does it by its self,
trust us you need to train it so that it does as you say first time with no arguments (or swearing) good luck hun and let us know how you go on,
failing all this you need to go to your training provider and get them to show you how it is done

I'm due to do my training soon with sienna and this is the bit I am dreading most! Lol! I'm not risking putting mine up til I get there with it! can you imagine going on the tube with a socking great bit tent up!Lol Lx

I remember doing this when i first got my tent. It pop-ed up fantastic, but it just wouldnt pop back down again and it ended up being kinked. It turned out i'd managed to twist the wire inside, which turned out to be a pain to twist back round the right way.

I still have problems with my tent. I have one client who always asks me to use the tent and I did her on Friday, struggled trying to get it down, got mad and threw it in the back of my little Polo and it's now still in the garage awaiting me having another go lol :):)

How would you do a spray tan without the tent? Doesn't it go everywhere? Lx:eek:

i spray without a tent
my little tanning room was swamped by the tent, so im saving that for spray tan parties
i spray with tantrick liquids and the minimist
hardly any overspray atall,
one baby wipe on floor afterwards is all i ever need!!

Wow! I am a very messy person (I can look at something on the other side of the room and it'll fall over and make a mess!) Still I'm hoping that when I grow up (bearing in mind I'm 32 next birthday) I will be able to control the grub! Lol

I don't use a tent a tent in my salon either, only have it for demonstrating to trainees if they are going to be using one

Okay , here goes
when the tent is in the upright position folded out, does it make any diffirence wich side you push in first?
I remember the left side on my tent had to be pulled out last when I opened it the first time this afternoon.
thanks for everybody thet replie s/d
Astrid

Yes it does matter hun, if you fold it wrong to start with you will never get it down,
i have posted instructions above ^

okay,
so in the case of my tent i should put the left hand side in the back of the right side, that's where i remember it coming out.
i think, i hope aaaaaaarhgh:grr::grr::grr::grr:

Oh dear...I haven't opened my tent up yet...Oh what fun I have to look forward too lol.

I DID IT!!!
Thanks loubylou:hug:, i did what you said and put the right hand side in and I did it :)
It took my straight thinkin husband to help me as well but hey,
thank god its in the bag.

You are very welcome hun,
you just need to practise a lot and get it trained now, once it has been put down about 10 times it gets a memory and it is a lot easier for you,
but leave it until tomorrow now, you have had enough fun for one night

Ok I have just spent the last 2 hours trying to put my spray tan tent down, finally did it, I think it has a kink though!! I'm quite worried about not being able to put it down after spraying a client now! Why isn't anything easy I suppose these things are sent to try us lol :green:

LOL getting that spray tan tent is most definitely one of the most difficult tasks to get right:irked:

Strange thing is that when you do...you wonder why the bloody hell it was so difficult in the first place :lol::hug:
