Hi everyone,

Can you help please, I'm having a bit of a nightmare at the moment with one particular client. I applied no blend tips along with gel a couple of weeks ago but she has called me to say that in the last couple of days the tips have started to bend at the free edge and the gel is cracking in the underneath layers and she can feel a slight ridge underneath the gel, it sounds almost like the tip has bent up which is forcing the gel up causing the cracking but not all the way to the surface?

I can only assume there is something I have done wrong but as this has never happened to me before I dont know what?

Any advice or comments greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Linda

I would say that if she had had the overlays on for a couple of weeks, then its more likely to be something that she is doing and that she simply needs to have a service appointment. Perhaps the tips are a little long to be practical and maybe she needs a re-balance on the apex area to improve the strength. Sounds also to me like maybe something has started to break down the product, so maybe you could try to find out if she has used anything likely to do this, i.e. chemical cleaners or thinners etc. Hth's
