Hi all....Just wanted to know if the Berins ease wax (strip wax) is suitable to use on the Hive roller waxing as I am mobile ....Thanks..:wink2:

Are you thinking about decanting it into an empty cartridge?

yes as I would usually do with my honey or cream wax.Just want to have more information about the right melting temperature for the Berins ease as I have never used the Berins range before.

The Berins is made for use with the pot and spatula just as the honey and cream wax is that you have been using with your roller, so it would be a case of try it and see,
temp needs to be around 40, it has a lower melting point hth

if i get a chance i will try this myself just so we have an answer for you

keep me posted if u trying it before me as I ordered it and will only be able to try it next week.more expensive than any other one I use so don't want to waste it...Thanks:lol::lol::lol::lol:

If you are decanting wax into used (clean) empty cartridges you should check with your insurance company that you are covered as some will not cover you if you are filling them up.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I was totally unaware of this till I had a colleague that told me that this was correct. So definalty check out with your insurance that you are covered just in case.

sorry to jump in on the thread but Iwas looking at berins at gmex does anyone use their products ,and if so i would really appreciate your opinions:hug:

Joolz, I am using all three of the waxes that are over here in the UK - Berins Blue, Jet Set (which is a hard wax just like the blue) and the Ease which is a strip wax.

I absolutely love them all. I have only recently started using the Jet Set though and I have to say it is taking over as my favourite of the three. It goes onto the skin really nicely, sets very quickly and removal is a doddle.

I am and have been for a while now using all their waxes and pre and after care and i have not had one problem with any of it,
obviously like anything new we get i had to adapt a little to the way it works as it has a lower melting point,
i think they are all great and my clients have said that they can notice the difference, the ouch factor is almost nil and no stickiness and all have said how great it is the next day, they don't remember they have been waxed as they don't have the usual soreness associated with waxing (this is my brazilian clients) hth

Would you say that the Berins wax is better than the P.R. wax?

It will be a few weeks before any details of the training will be revealed as all the trainers will be having updated training themselves with Lori,
we are all experienced waxers but the better training we get, the better training we can pass on to yourself and others hth

Thanks for the insurance tip tracy .....Berins sounds fab so I can't wait to try...:green::green::green::green::green::green::green::green:

I do mobile clients, and use Berins.

I have a plastic box with a lid and handles on the side, that fits my double heater (its a small double heater) and all my bits and bobs in. It just goes in my boot, and easy to get in and out.

Sensible lass!

Mobile therapists were waxing with pot and spatula for years before the roller systems were introduced.....

'In my opinion' it's the best way, cartridges are faffy and wasteful!

Love my pots and spatulas which I have been using for years but also love the roller system when I am mobile...Quick to warm up, no mess, save me time and money and It give me the flexibility to use different types of waxes without carrying pots and pots...as I am walking everywhere. Sorry but don't get your point when you say they are faffy and wasteful:green::green::green::green:..

When I use my roller system I seem to be constanty putting new cartridges in and cleaning / changing rollerheads. I do occasionally use it for legs and backs, if I am extra tired or I have too many clients booked in and saving a few minutes with the application makes a difference. I also hate waiting for an inch of wax to run down to the roller, so I end up messing around topping up half empty cartridges between clients. For me, it's faffy. And I know that spatula waxing is more profitable.

With regard to the ability to use different types of waxes, you may find if you use the Ease that you don't need any other types (of warm wax), one will be enough.

That is exactly what I am looking for as I am a fan of strip wax.I am a bit tired of using honey or cream wax even if the results are good. I am hoping that Berins ease will spice up my life...Thanks...:green::green:
