I'm thinking of investing in some Berins wax as my hot wax. I was looking at the website and saw two - jet set and blue. Is there any difference in them except one setting faster then the other?? Also I saw they sell the waxing spatula Lori Nelson uses in her waxing videos which I was also thinking of getting, but I have a concern, I'm taught in college not to double -dip is there something special about this??

Hi thay have a different feel to them the jet set is more
brittle and leaves bits behind so I tend to mix them so you get the qualities of both. As foe double dipping everyone has there view on this so this is just what I do. I use the same spat doing legs etc as long as there are no cuts or whatever. But I don't double dip for intimate waxing, new spat every dip. Hth.

Hi there

I use Berins East and the Blue and its "The Best"! If you have some questions, why not google the Wax Queen and go to the Royal Message Board, post your questions and await a reply..maybe from the Queen herself! Or search your questions and you may find some replies already posted. Its a very informative site just like "Salon Geek".

Zo Zo on here is the UK distributor - she knows what's what about Berins!

As the others have already said the Blue is the standard hard wax and the jet set was originally designed for the hot and humid climates which the UK clearly is not, however a lot of salons have found it extremely useful in the summer or even if you have large windows so it has gotten very good feedback.
Also yes you can mix the jet set and the blue to get the right adjustment foryour environment but you would probably only need the blue at the moment and then inthe summer mix the jet set in with it.

thanks :) I ended buying the Blue and I love it, it sets pretty fast too!

enjoy playing - Berins is a fab wax!
I'm a blue/jet set "merger" as Collin highlights above - works wonders, particularly for intimate work where areas tend to be a tad warm!

That'll be Britta not Collin!
Soo sorry...Doh thought I'd seen that swinging cat!!
