Hi Geeks, for those of you who are body therapists/holistic do you know of a good school/ training programme for ayurvedic therapies? I have looked at ayurveda pura just, but it got me thinking I would ask to see if anyone has any first hand experience/advice? I have read that if you study the subject properly (as in medicine) it takes 7 years to qualify, so wandered where they go to train?? And what establishments in uk run good courses, not1 day ' expect to learn all this in a few hours' type ones. Any information and advice is appreciated! x x

if you wish to be an ayurvedic doctor then yes you would need 7 years training.
you can concentrate more on the therapy side of it with a brief intro to panakarchama and ayurvedic medicine.

I did a 5 day training course with tri dosha, I think they do travel to Swansea and Malvern so not to far for you.

Its sunita Passi, think its www.tri-dosha.co.uk
