Hello all,
Just need to get out there that I did my level 2 NVQ in hairdressing nearly 20 years ago and haven’t worked as a hairdresser for a very long time......I normally go to a salon for my cuts and colours with a fab stylist but obvs we are all on lock down so thought I’d do my own colour at home.....I change my colour a fair bit and had grown out dark copper but fancied going brighter so maji contrast came to mind so got pure copper from amazon and 6%. My natural base is a 7/8, I did a full head tint totally forgetting you aren’t supposed to apply to the scalp, anyway it’s fine it’s just super bright!! Especially on the roots obviously. I did apply to lengths and ends first but I have very short hair so guess it’s more obvious haha! I mean looking back what did I expect to happen haha! So moving forward firstly is there anything I can do to add some depth to the sides (see pics) as I’m not hating the top bit/darker bit and that will just generally even things out and secondly whats the best bright/vibrant copper tint that I can use moving forward at home that I can apply full head and scalp? I’m used to L’Oréal but happy to use whatever really. Thanks so much!
