Best way to lighten without bleach

I currently have matrix socolor in 1N on. I’d like to go to about a 4 or 5 mocha. Don’t really want to use straight bleach so I’ve been researching of different methods and have come across scruples color delete and L’Oréal effasol color remover. Thinking about doing one of those and then throwing on some filler and one of the mochas. Is this a good idea ?

not against it at all I was actually first thinking of doing a bleach bath but just was wondering about the other products as I hear that with darker more pigments colors like black it’s sometimes better/more effective to reduce the color molecules using a color remover instead of bleach.
