hello! Noob here. I’m in cosmetology school at the moment. And they have yet to cover this. So I just came down with strep throat. Booo!!!! My question is what’s the best way to de-germ my equipment so I don’t get sick again. Someone said Lysol wipes but I read it only works if you use the spray and I don’t know if it’s okay On my equipment. I have a few days off for rest but I would like to go back with a germ-free kit. Help!!!!

Depends on what your kit comprises of. To how one would go about cleaning it.

I hope you feel better soon, strep throat is terribly painful. Had it once only and I thought I was going to die. I don’t really get sick so hence my reaction.

I’d recommend waiting until you feel better before cleaning anything.

But to answer your question; a lot of salon supply places sell disinfectant sprays etc in bulk. I buy 5L at a time .
I buy the one with thymol for fungus it’s an alcohol base product. Each brand sticks their own version so whichever brand you using I am sure they sell a product to use.
