Hi people

I would be very grateful if i was to get some much needed advice! I have a couple of customers with rather large thumbs very wide and i cant find a tip wide enough to fit, this is causing lift and seperation as theres not a snug fit, i was told once before years ago that you could buy tips specially made for big thumbs, i dont know how true this is, if so could sombody advise me on where to get these please, i currently use the new welless creative tips white but i think they are rather slim fitting, if anybody know of anywhere that i could get wider fitting white and clear for that matter could you also let me know, it would be much appreciated, thanks x

Hey :green:
I don't know about wider fitting tips.... there might be some out there, but I've not found them.

Anyway, this is the PERFECT excuse to teach yourself how to Sculpt!
I actually first decided to try sculpting as one of my thumbs was slightly too large for a tip..... soon found that I preferred to sculpt.

There's lots of advice within the nail forum about how to sculpt.

I recall a thread on here a while ago (couple of months maybe) that was looking for a supplier of tips for large thumbs.. I'm sure someone came up with somewhere. Have you tried the search facility on here.

Other than this, I would do as Gelly says... sculpt, it's far better once you get the hang of it and also I think you're client would like the idea of having a custom set of nails iykwim :)

Hiya
