Hi all, hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine :)
I seem to have my creative head on today and was just considering the possibility of tinting bikini hair - I know a lot of places do it but what I'm wondering is do you need a specific type of tint or would eyelash tint do the same job? Obviously I would need to be qualified and insured for it if I were to offer it to the public but to be honest that's not why I'm asking. I'm just curious... :lick:

Anybody any ideas?

xx

Hi there is a product specifically for this called 'minkini'

It can be sold as either a retail product or you can do the training.

Personally I wouldn't use eyelash tint,I dont think you would be covered insurance wise if you did. HTH

Thanks Babs, thats just the info I needed
I think I might Minkini myself hehe

Welcome,I believe it takes about 45 mins to do and that they do some normal colours plus some vibrant ones.xx

I had a quick search for minkini and I found a link which directed me to scinboutique.com but it says "Bikini Dye...0" as though they dont have any :(

It was this page: Scin Boutique - Bikini-Dye

It is in demand, not hugely but I have had several clients over the years ask me if there was a tint/dye that would cover up their grey hairs down below. It's an alternative to waxing it all off when particularly grey.HTH

I've ordered Hot Pink :lick:

"Too much info!" I hear you cry! :D

Haha,we will be expecting pics.....not!!!:DNo seriously, let us know what you think.x

hahah guys i want to do the course!!!!!
I have a lot of clients in their mid 50s newly single and want their hair to appear natural rather than have to have it all waxed away, do you tink the online course would be sufficient, ive never learned online before , more of hands on gahl myself !!

Well I ordered Minikini and it came the next working day... great :D
I got myself all ready in the bathroom, pre-lightened (itchy itchy!!) then tinted and it was the BRIGHTEST pink! It gradually faded until it was an orangey colour about 5/6 days later. I topped up yesterday so it's pink again (you get loads of colour but only one lightener application so it's not as bright this time)

Overall I was very pleased with it and my boyfriend thinks I am nuts lol

I think it's better for special occasions though, with it fading quite quickly. Tons of fun though!! xx
