Bikini wax - what they never taught us!!

these are the bits im finding difficult!! I want to have it done to see someone else do it but im too scared!!! Ive been to a few places to have a normal bikini done and some of then have been rubbish, i do my own now and do quite abit underneath but cant seem to do it on clients. My friend is really good but doesnt do hollywoods are actua; prper brazillians. Im to worred to go anywhere else incase the are rubbish!!!

Just new to Northampton and searching for somewhere that does Brazilian/Hollywood waxing using Perron Rigot wax....can anyone help??

I have just finished my waxing course and the same as you guys only been taught the bikini line, I do brazillians on my mates but was thinking about having the specialist training before being let loose on the general public as Im not 100% sure on how to do it properly. Can I ask you all, do you wear gloves when doing intimate waxing because I feel I dont want to do it without cos you are touching very intimate areas!

I was taught by Kim (the best, IMO) and wore gloves for the first few times I tried intimate waxing. However, I get on better without them and it doesn't bother me to do it like that. I give my hands a good wash before and after the treatment and antibac them too, so I don't think there's a hygiene problem there.
I've noticed that -after telling clients about a 'particularly smelly lady' -all shower or wash immediately prior to coming to me and are now quite paranoid about personal hygiene. :twisted: He he !!!

So as long as you wash your hands throughly before and after waxing you think its ok not to wear gloves? Its certainly easier without them but just worry about the hygiene factor! Just wanted to know really what other therapists do when they do intimate waxing, would you suggest doing the specialist course?

I don't wear gloves either. The only exception is if I have an open sore on my hand, then I'll wear a glove.

I don't wear gloves. If I do then I become the clumsiest person around , fngers and thumbs everwhere!!

I am new to waxing but when I want to offer Brazilians or intimate waxing I sure will take appropriate training. I am going to build confidence with the basics first.

Why don't you do a 1-2-1 with Kimmi. You are in Greater London so can't be too far from Kimmi's salon in Upminster.
