I am currently the only Bio Nail Tech in my community. I am struggling for a fair price for the product.

Location - Canada, Northern BC

Just for comparison - what do you charge? Thanks.

Getting started myself, I plan on charging $35 when I'm all set to go. That seems to be on the lower end in my area (Ontario). I'd say the average is around 45 for a NNO. Some charge an extra 5 for French and 10-15 for a soak-off. Others soak off each time and it's inlcuded in the price. During Bio training it was recommended to soak off each time which I question since the remover can damage nails when used frequently. What are your plans? What price point are you considering?

Currently I am charging $56CAD plus GST for a full set for a less expensive product and I was suggested that I charge $70 for a Bio Set. But I feel this is way too expensive for my small town.

Wow, the most expensive around here is 60 that I know of. I know I would be charging less than the norm but that's a reflection of my experience. In my Bio kit, the suggested prices was 45 for clear overlay and 50 for french. I am hesitant to charge this much since I know of places nearby that do a nice job for 35. Around here you can get a full set of tips or sculpts for less than 70. I guess it all depends on your area. Keep me posted - interested to know wht you decide.

I guess I will stick with the $56 plus gst for a full set and $37 for a fill. This is what I have been charging for less expensive products. Best not to charge tooo much.

Do you know how many sets you get out of a 10mL jar of gel?

I think ppl are willing to pay a bit more for Bio since it has such a great rep. Maybe a slight increase would work. I don't know how many sets you get from 10 g but I do know what the cost is per set. I will pm you.
