evening all - just a quick question - how long do you cure your final layer of s-gel for.

In my training we were told by the tutor that 2 mins is acceptable, but curing for 4mins would result in a better shine.

Was just wondering what everyone else does - I have tried both and to be honest can't really see much difference!

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi there

I very rarely cure S Gel for 4 minutes. What my tutor told me was that if you are going to put a topcoat on, then you only ever need to cure it for 2 mins, then apply your top coat.

Like you, I have tried both ways and prefer the look of the S Gel with the top coat on, and the shorter cure time.
