I am new to bios, which are superb, but find that the recommended way of removing them by soaking with foil etc takes a while. Has anyone found a way for a quicker removal?

when you say a while how long are they taking? I can soak a set off from start to finish within 15 mins when I use the executive base. I also use the foil method as I have found this the quickest way. I buff each one and then apply the soak off and foil before going onto the next nail. By time I have wrapped all 10 the first one has more or less soaked off.

Soak off should only take 15-20 mins, and a little longer than that if they've been infilled.

Don't forget you need to "break the seal" by gently buffing before soaking off.

BTW, heated mitts will also help to speed up the process.

HTHs.
