Thanks to everyone for you comments, however just one last question if you don;t mind:)

When doing a gel overlay (nno) - french - I still seem to be getting a lip on zone 1, where I have applied the white. Have tried one thicker layer and two thinner ones!! grrrrr

I think I can buff this down after curing the white - is that correct? then proceed with applying s-gel/sealer gel as appropriate?

will the s-gel/sealer gel still adhere to the nail ok after I've buffed it - as i will have removed the sticky layer?

Hope Im making sense!

Thanks in advance for any advice - is really appreciated.

xx

Hiya, usually i would do two thin coats of white, cure then use s-gel straight after without buffing, the s-gel or clear whatever your using levels out any lip. I try make sure the whites are nice and thin tho to save any noticable ridges. HTH x
