Well Im going to be honest some times it is so blatently obviouse that someone is trying to sell you something that I feel like taking the product/phone/ promotion thingy and shove it where the sun dont shine!!!! I would only ever sell a product I believe in but how do you retail with out looking well a bit desperate and see through.....??

Hi,
Its all down to the initial consultation! All the questions you ask your client upfront will tell you her needs and then from that you should recommend products to help solve her problems!
You also need to know what kind of questions to ask and what kind of client type they are as to weather they will buy from you or not!
But dont be scared retailing compleates a part of your service.

Thankyou mynailsparadise I will be starting to retail in my new job which starts tomorrow...:eek::eek:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

From a customer's point of view, I am much receptive to a salesperson who doesn't hover or is pushy. When I genuinely see someone believes in a product, that's when I want to try it out!

Absolutely. The moment they start to be pushy, I kinda close up and won't buy it however good it seems. (If they really p..s me off and I want the product I'd go somewhere else to buy it) Softly softly catchee monkey
