Hiya.
Just need some help getting years and years off blonde turnt to a beautiful brunette, her hair is breaking and we just need to refresh it, I will post a pic of her hair. We currently been using blondor 6% with 7/73 colour touch.

my client would like to achieve this look which I'm super super super excited about. But I need help with colours- first of all I need to prepigment and then add the colour, she would also like the front pieces blonde as long as they are soft and blend in well to the Brunette, I'm very familiar with wella koleston perfect, so just looking for some help :) thank you!

So for this look, because it's darker than the natural base of your client I would use colour touch. Especially as you're trying to improve the condition of her hair. I think I would pre pig, the mix 8/73 + 6/71 with 1.9%for the base.
With the front I'd tone it with KP 3parts 9/38 + 1 part 8/96 with pastel.

thanks for your quick reply! Okay so I don't need to pre pig it separately? just pre pig my mix with 8/73, how much in ratio should I use with the base colour (6/71)

and thanks for the Toning Colour it's much appreciated!

Or did you mean pre pig first then do the colour ? Thanks

It depends on your preference and the clients commitment to going darker.
If I was to pre pig I'd probably only fill with gold.
Then m use 2 parts 6/71 + 1 parts 8/73.
If you don't pre pig I'd do 2parts 6/73 + 1part 8/71. So you get the right balance of the gold and Ash for the levels you're dropping to.

sorry just one more question 🙈I definitely think it needs to be pre pig she's happy to go dark and her hair needs it, and as there's so much blonde I'm worried if I don't pre pig it's not going to go right.
- what would I use to pre pig it?
then after it's pre pig I will do 2parts CT 6/71 + 1part 8/73

sorry I only know my basic colours and highlighting as I done my course years ago and now I have a few clients, friends, family so just want to get the right info and take my time to get the perfect look

Yes so you could use 8/3 to pre pig. Or gold coloured mousse, or quick pig.

Hiya! So I did this hair back in February! She didn't want the blonde so we just went for the all over colour, it's hard to see how dark it was in the picture as the lighting made it so different. Anyway Il send some pics. She now wants something more lighter as it was a bit to dark for her 🙄 ( massive change for her )
I'm thinking as we are trying to work on the health of her hair to still use colour touch and to maybe do a horseshoe balayage/ or just a few packets of highlights sweeping through with a low peroxide and tone do you have any suggestions on what colours for toner and all over ? Thanks x

This is back in feb
