So I have been waxing for about 6 months now. Really enjoy it. I am looking into taking a course doing body sugaring. Which one is cheaper to do on clients? I am looking for a price diff and any feedback.

I tried it. My hands are far too hot for the paste. Luckily - my waxing skills are enjoyed by many repeat customers.

My advice? Be Really Good at one thing then you can develop a reputation. Being fairly good at many things doesn't differentiate you against other suppliers!

There are pro's and con's to both. Personally I think it is best to master one or the other, if you use a high quality leading brand product and develop your skills you won't need to do both.

Over here, waxing has a much greater market penetration over sugaring. You could argue that Sugaring gives you a unike treatment, but I think most people would prefer a skilled therapist.

Good luck with whatever you choose!

I agree with the guys......be brilliant at one thing. I can only go by what my clients tell me and they say that they prefer waxing. However, I'm sure the clients and the Sugar Shop would say they prefer sugaring.

Why don't you go to somebody who does both and get them to wax one leg and sugar the other? That way you can see for yourself. xx
