Anyone been to see the Bodyworks exhibition at Manchester science museum? its a collection of dead bodies(!) donated by the people and preserved by that guy who does the autopsys on channel 4.
you can see everything!! its amazing. it shows the bones, ligaments, muscles all sorts. one has the nervous sytem all pulled out so you can see it. and then things like lungs from a smoker and cancerous organs things like that. sounds sick but its amazing how the human body is made.

LOL yes i went down to see this on bank holiday Monday but i got there at 1pm and was told i would have to wait until 4.45pm to view the exhibition as it was fully booked,
the workers at the museum advised me to book the tickets online as this way you can chose your time to go in and see the exhibition,
i will be going back when i get free day, i love all things medical.
The web addy for the one in Manchester is Museum of Science and Industry | MoSI
and the other one is www.bodyworlds.com
hth
