I own a small salon in the north of Scotland and I would like to offer Body Wraps to my clients. As I live on an island there is limited clientele. Most of my clients want the best of treatments but at low prices.

The products that look the best are the Universal Contour Wrap!
It is very expensive!!!
Is it really worth it?
What price would you charge for a treatment?
Is there other products out there that are just as good but at a more affordable price?

I am having the same problem, the only supplier I can find is Sallys and their kit it £100 + vat! Therefore I guess this will have to be reflected in the treatment price.

I have been providing the universal to my clients for 16 years,I also appeared on BBC1 watchdog docu on ' do inch loss treatments work' about 11 years ok. They are one of the top range, but they work. They are about to have a major high-profile campaign. you can charge between £65.00 - £85.00 universal will recommend you charge £85
good luck

Hi Karen,
I also live on an island and our clients seem similar with their demands.
However after doing 2 inch loss wraps in 2 years, I removed it from my menu. No one has noticed !!!!
I now offer a full body exfoliation, shower, massage and then wrap the client in a body lotion & leave covered for 20 mins. £50 for 1.5hour treatment.
It's been popular and I've received good feedback. Job Done !

Hi Have you had a look at Bioslimming? Cheaper to introduce and extremely effective when targeting Fat & Cellulite, also enhances weight loss plus many additional benefits for your clients as well as increasing your revenue. Clients on average can lose up to 8 inches following one treatment and many drop 2-3 dress sizes over a course of treatments. Have a look at this review which was carried out by a blogger who had a treatment at Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh The Daydreamer: An Honest Review: Harvey Nichols Edinburgh Beyond MediSpa: Bioslimming

We do universal contour wraps at the salon, it's my least favourite treatment. Smelly wet wraps and messy lol!
Clients do book for them, mainly in the summer. They have a course of 3 mainly as it works out bit cheaper. I think we charge about £65 per wrap.
When I measure after the wrap I do find they have lost inches and a few women have really seen a huge difference.
However I normally recommend people to have a lovely body treatment, scrub, massage and cellulite mask or something. Much nicer :)

Hiya, I use the UCW and I love it! We charge £60 and as said by a previous poster recommend a course of 3.
It definitely gives good results and also their products are easy to retail.
It is actually one of my favourite treatments to do, as I love the look on the client's face when I tell them how many inches they have lost!
