I booked my CND nail course to begin at the end of June and when i was on the phone i asked them if i was able to purchase a nail trainer. She said i could but they prefer me to work on "Live" models.

Embarrassingly, i don't have many friends, so the nail trainer would be handy and I'd get it anyway. But i was thiking, is it a good or bad idea putting an advert on Gumtree or on notice boards at community centres etc... asking for willing models? I wouldn't expect them to pay or owt, all I'd ask is to be able to take pics and for them to keep in touch/allow me to visit them so I can see how the nails are.

Is this a stupid idea?

ooo didnt know they would let you use a nail trainer, the only reason i didnt train with CND was cos i couldnt provide the models i needed :-(

If you were near me, i'd come in for you hun, I know how hard it is to get models. I'm sure Ruth Mills on here has her own salon guinea pig website, maybe worth a look on there? hth x x
